Cake Art 2 - Wilton Method Flowers and Cake Design Course 2

The fun continues. We’ll learn how to handle gum paste and fondant and make gum paste pansies and button flowers. Learn to make royal icing. We will make the apple blossom, the beautiful Wilton rose, primroses and rose buds. Daffodils, violets and lilies are followed by reverse shell borders and the basket weave technique. We’ll discuss cake design, proportion, color selection and in our last class, you will decorate your cake with the flowers you have made using the design of your choosing.

Four 2-hour sessions. You must complete Course 1 before this class begins. Course 2 is a required class for our Wedding Cake Class.
