Meringue powder is used as an ingredient for making icing and meringue. Meringue powder has the following ingredients: Egg whites, tapioca starch, dextrose, dextrin, contains two percent or less of : tartaric acid, sodium aluminum sulfate, cream of tartar and artificial flavor. Instructions are included on the package for making cold water meringue and boiled meringue. Store powder in a dry, cool area. Keep container covered at all times.
